A lot of excitement seems to be around a 'high value' target hit by SLAF Kfir and F7G aircraft today, following which all LTTE communication seems to have been switched off.

Thanks for the update. Hope we will know the result soon. Could the chief be there ? The chances are high ! Anywayz this would help to easy the remaining build up as the morale would go down. Hope that this could be worthy than Selvan Anna AKa the Peace dove !

Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara speaking to defence.lk said that 11 LTTE cadres including a very senior LTTE leader were killed in the attack.
He added that it has been revealed through unconfirmed sources that Soosai was at the targeted location at the time of the attack. However, he said it is impossible to confirm at the moment whether Soosai was killed or wounded in the attack.
